The number of electric cars is constantly increasing. In 2023, 41 percent more ‘electric cars’ were registered compared to the previous year, which means that the number of these cars in Austria has already exceeded 150,000. In March, credit insurer Acredia and Allianz Trade published a study showing that a similar percentage increase in new registrations was predicted for the whole of Europe this year.
