Twitter confirmed that Musk would attend the meeting. “Business Insider” first had coverage of the upcoming event.
Headlines about the acquisition never stop
Musk announced the acquisition in April. Since then, the headlines have not stopped. Recently, the billionaire threatened to call off the deal if the company didn’t provide more information about fake accounts.
Twitter employees have repeatedly expressed concerns that Musk could destabilize the company. Twitter shareholders are expected to vote on the acquisition in early August.
