A new tenant is being sought for the pizzeria in Hinterstoder. Yvonne O’Shannassy took over the restaurant at the end of last year. But now it stops again for various reasons. After the summer holidays she will reopen her popular café ‘Fleischerei’ in the center of the ski area.
After just ten months it’s over! Yvonne O’Shannassy closes her pizzeria in Hinterstoder again. “Many little reasons made this possible. “With great foresight we signed the lease for only one year,” says the restaurateur.
In the spring, she terminated the contract for the restaurant, which had long been known as Dorfstub’n. On October 18 there will be a ‘curfew’ for the last time. After a few days of cleaning, a longer holiday in Australia, her husband’s home country, is on the agenda.
New concept for “butcher shop”
“We return to Hinterstoder just in time for the start of the winter season. I will definitely open the ‘butcher’s shop’ again. “I’m now thinking about what exactly the concept will look like during the break in my second home,” says O’Shannassy.
Café taken over nine years ago
The café with the somewhat unusual name was closed during the summer season. “Since the cable car was on the outskirts of the city, we had too few regular customers.” O’Shannassy took over the “butcher’s shop”, including three holiday apartments, in the heart of the ski area nine years ago.
