This gives us some breathing room in the struggle to finance continued operations! Because a real estate deal from KTM AG fell through, money came into the bankrupt motorcycle manufacturer’s coffers: a total of 35 million euros! However, the majority of MV Agusta has not yet been sold. Intensive negotiations are still ongoing.
Only in March 2024 did the KTM Group acquire a majority stake in the luxury motorcycle brand MV Agusta, and now they want to withdraw from the 50, separate 1% of Italians.
49 percent of Pierer Immoreal GmbH was sold again
While there is still a lot of need for discussion about MV Agusta’s planned withdrawal, another deal has already been struck. The acquisition of 49% of Pierer Immoreal GmbH in Wels by the motorcycle manufacturer from Mattighofen was returned to the previous owner, as confirmed by restructuring manager Peter Vogl. This brings at least 35 million euros into KTM AG’s coffers.
Pierer Immoreal has already completed several projects for Stefan Pierer’s group of companies, such as several KTM flagship stores or the “House of Brands” in Munderfing, where the marketing and communication teams of the various brands (KTM, Husqvarna, GasGas) are housed.
