Well-trained professionals have a future, is the business credo. The Tyrol World Cup has now published the student numbers of the past year. The statistics show a minimal decline in the number of students and companies. Interns in newly created professions take a long time to arrive, but people at the Chamber of Commerce are patient.
At the end of 2024, the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce will take stock of the number of students in the country. There was a slight decline in 2024, but there was also good news to report (see chart for details). More than 160 apprenticeships are offered in Tyrol, in Austria there are said to be many more, namely 228. Only in July 2024, three more were added: climate gardener, district heating technology and fiber composite technology.
