The European car market is in a crisis, so the position is becoming increasingly important for other world regions, such as in India: on Saturday a styric business delegation starts his journey to the gigantic country – organized by the Styria Internationalization Center. Representatives of AVL, Acstyria and Montan University Leoben talk about the great opportunities they smell.
Already in the 1980s the Helmut list began to build a network in India. Today, the Graz Automotive Group AVL has seven centers, spread over the map of the emerging economic power. “1,000 of 12,000 employees worldwide work in India – that is more than in China or America,” says Maria Kollmann. As a representative of the AVL, she wants to further expand this promising market.
