Martha Schultz mixes two male domains: as a Tyrolean entrepreneur, the cable car and tourism industry, as vice-chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, Federal Politics. On World Women’s Day, she explains to the “Kroon” Why Childcare does not end at school what makes women wrong on the career ladder – and why she changed her opinion into quota.
“Krone”: Eva-Maria Holzleitner (Spö) was praised as the new Minister of Women at the start of the week. Do you really need this message in 2025?
Martha Schultz: I think it is good that we have a minister of women again, because we are far from at the destination. With regard to the compatibility of work and family, we are on the road, but we have to keep that in focus.
