The world reinforcement in Osaka, Japanese, starts around a month. Also included are numerous red and white -red companies that present themselves and are looking for new business opportunities.
More than 160 countries, regions and organizations participate in the Expo. “Our companies and research institutions use the stage to present their technologies and solutions,” says economic minister Wolfgang Hartmannsdorfer. The big event also offers an opportunity to make yourself visible worldwide and to determine new collaborations that it is a “door opener”.
There are a total of 65 projects and events in the Austria pavilion. 90 selected “luminous tower projects” can also be seen in an Innovationab Austria.
Innovative companies were selected
Many Austrian companies are there and want to score with their innovations, they were selected in a selection process at more than 60 innovative companies. Prominent names include car suppliers AVL list, technical service provider Skidata and various start-ups. There is also a separate innovation.
Among the cooperation partners are other established companies, such as the styric printed circuit board gigantic AT&S. The Austrian airlines and Vienna airport are also on board. Austria wants to show Austria’s best side, the piano manufacturer Bösendorfer and the Augarten Manufaktor are in Osaka.
During catering, the Japanese wines can taste well -known wineries such as Lenz Moser or Bründlmayer, or try Viennese specialties of Julius Meinl. Bio-Tea producer Sonnentor and Pasta manufacturer Reecheis are also represented.
Exports to Japan with 1.8 billion euros
Japan, after the US, China and Mexico, is the fourth most important supervisory market for Austria, with an export volume of 1.8 billion euros, and things with the Asian country increased by around a third in ten years. The Expo program is funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Chamber of Commerce, in total there are more than 20 million euros available.
