E-commerce strategy-tiktok is increasingly becoming a rival for Amazon

According to a media report, the Chinese social media platform Tiktok will enter the online store industry in Japan in the coming months. For this, the efforts in other countries were intensified to get a foothold in the field of e-commerce.

The company is preparing for the recruitment of sellers, writes the financial newspaper Nikkei, referring to an insider. In the first instance there was no statement from Tikkok.

The Tiktokwinkel has been available in France and Germany since March. It was only introduced in Italy last week. With this Tiktok expands the reach in Europe.

In the United States, however, the future of the social media platform is still uncertain. US President Donald Trump said that ten days ago, reporters in the White House would postpone the planned agreement on the sale of Tiktok in the country until the trade question with China was clarified.
