Strong storms met the Spanish region of Catalonia on Saturday evening. In some places, more than 100 liters of rain per square meter fell within a few hours. Train traffic was interrupted for a few hours, rescue workers treated more than 70 people (see video above).
Seriously injured were not reported. The particularly affected cities were Barcelona, where, among other things, a hospital could no longer accept new patients due to a power failure.
