In the Spanish state, the interannual interest rate for March is 3.2%, four tenths more than in February.
The consumer price index (CPI) rose to 3.2% on an annual basis in March Basque Autonomous Community and 3.4% Navarredue to the increase in the price of electricity due to the increase in VAT on electricity, fuel and tourist packages, according to data provided on Friday by the National Statistical Institute (INE).
The interannual figure for March was one-tenth and nine-tenths higher than that of February, 3.1% in BAC and 2.5% in Navarra respectively.
In monthly installments (from February to March), the consumer price index (CPI) increased by 0.6% in the BAC and by 1% in Navarra.
So far this yearprices in the BAC increased by 1.4% and in Navarra by 0.9%.
In March, Gipuzkoa has recorded an interannual CPI of 3.4%, Bizkaia 3.3% and Arabia of 2.6%. Compared to the month of February, the CPI increased by 0.8% in Gipuzkoa, 0.6% in Bizkaia and 0.5% in Araba.
