Triforet Alpinresort GmbH in Hinterstoder slid into financial turbulence. A renovation process without self -administration was opened at the Vienna Commerce Court. The company is part of the Alpin Family Group, which opened a renovation process at the end of April.
Both procedures are handled at the Vienna Commercial Court. In the Triforet Hotel there is the business address in Hinterstoder, but the commercial and financial decisions are made at the head office in Vienna.
44 affected employees
According to its own statements, these insolvency procedures must be influenced by 115 creditors and 44 employees with a total obligations of around 1.7 million euros.
The sliding to the now bankruptcy is mainly attributed to the mass changes in the collective agreement of employees with regard to special payments. These extra costs were only transferred to consumers to small parts. A significant decrease in the elaborations of the Chamber in the first quarter of 2025 must also be responsible.
Lights should not go out
The goal is to continue the company. A reward must be made via a renovation plan. For this purpose, the creditors are offered a quota of 20 percent, within two years after the acceptance of the renovation plan. This must be financed from the current operational continuation.

The feasibility of the renovation plan is now being investigated in detail by the Alpine Virant Office. The Alpine Officer Association will also investigate whether or in what form this payment proposal, which only corresponds to the statutory minimum requirements, can be improved.
