Because in uncertain times, regular customers are extremely important. The “Krone” asked how they could take advantage of club cards.

“At XXXLutz, Möbelix and Mömax we have more than 1.9 million discount cardholders,” said spokesman Thomas Saliger. With the XXXLutz, the card is called “Price Pass”. Owners receive monthly offers, annual bonuses and 10 euro birthday vouchers plus invitations to their own restaurant. In addition, they receive a free carrier for moving during the weekend, etc.

Rival kika-Leiner offers something similar. Members of the “Leiner Wohntraum-Club” and the “kika Fanclub” also benefit from the free sewing service for purchased curtains and can also use a transporter. And there is a 100-day return policy, even without the original invoice. Bonus points are collected with every purchase. Chef Reinhold Gütebier: “Loyalty deserves a reward!”

Ikea Family customers use the app more often. The furniture retailer offers you free parcel delivery from €60, a promotion card worth €10 after three purchases of €300 each, free transport insurance, unlimited exchanges and much more.

At Humanic, customers collect points – bring 300 “20% discount on a product of your choice” vouchers. There are also birthday coupons and a 3D foot scan in the store, which can accurately measure the foot profile and find the right shoe. The information is then stored on the card.

The H&M membership program is purely digital and already has about 130 million members worldwide who accumulate points. For starters, there is a welcome discount of 10% on a purchase and 5 Euro bonus vouchers for every 200 points collected, where 1 Euro earns 1 point for purchases. At Peek & Cloppenburg, the loyalty program is called “Insider”. Here too, points can be converted into bonuses. If the annual turnover exceeds 1000 €, you get Insider Gold status and you have even more benefits, such as a 50% discount on the exchange service.

The Thalia discount card, which can also be used as an app, provides free shipping in the webshop and, for example, a 10% discount on books in other languages ​​for which there is no fixed book price.

With the Tchibo PrivatCard, you receive “Loyalty Beans” when you shop, which can be redeemed, and you can find items at discounted prices online.

Members of the MediaMarkt Club receive vouchers and discounts. “Additional services such as paperless invoices that can be stored in personal accounts are also very popular,” says marketing director Andreas Höglinger. At Hartlauer, Löwencard holders can pick up “Leos”, which among other things offers direct discounts of up to 10%.

A multi-partner program is the jö card, where Billa, Bipa, Libro, OMV, Pearle, Zgonc & Co. be on board. The bosses Hanna Maier and Mario Günther Rauch rely on their own concept: if you collect points (Ös) with a partner, you can also exchange them for benefits with others.
