Everyone who in recent weeks via the railway bridge to Linz walked from Linz to Urfahr and had to discover months: the legendary sausage standard “Datoni” on the left Brückenstrasse is closed. Only a simple memorandum was decorated on the stand: “Winter lock until March 1”.
Even after the cut – off date, the roll beam remained below – and the rumor mill bubbled in the city. So some saw the scrap ball over the cult sausage stand on the Urfahraner Donauuufer.
Gastro legend has built De Standaard
Review: Just before the turn of the Millennium, ex-Catcher and gastro-legend Toni Kosik had built the sausage standard, the Lindbauer, the sausage standard, which was later managed by his daughters Jasmin and Christina. In 2023, the Kaufmann Foundation took over the traditional inn. Last summer, Jasmin Kosik handed the sausage stall with a heavy heart to Philipp Kaufmann, who is known to withdraw from the Linz host ratting in the fall.
Found in the interim solution
In conversation with the “Kroon”, Kaufmann said: “It is known that the inn and sausage standard must be sold.” SP City Chief Dietmar Prammer in particular would have strived for a fast, interim solution in the sense of everything, so the magistrate has now contacted Jasmin Kosik to win it for another season. “Datoni” seems to be stored for the time being at least until a new owner of Lindbauer decides what happens to the sausage standard.
