A small but revolutionary change is currently developing for kilometers away from research – in the middle of the children’s rooms and school classes. Children between the ages of three and eight are increasingly talking to Alexa, the friendly voice, the commands, or also with interactive narrative apps and generative AI bots. 71 percent of the three to five-year-olds and 65 percent of six to twelve-year-olds already say “please” and “thanks”- a phenomenon that raises more questions than it currently answers.
