“In the last 24 hours, 15 new fires were broken up in the federal field,” said the Governor of California Gavin Newsom on Friday in the online service X. The “Madre Fire” was flamed in the district of San Luis Obispo on Wednesday in the center of the state.
Since then, more than 28,300 hectares of land have been destroyed, around 200 people have been evacuated. According to the Californian fire protection authority Kalfire, more than 600 firefighters and 40 fire trucks were used.
