The interest is falling again, but the recession is slowly becoming in this country. For the Viennese investment platform Conda, however, this is not an obstacle to growth, on the contrary.
Because the profit is shrinking and many companies become more difficult to finance at banks, “creative” models are more popular. One of them is Conda. This is where companies collect money online from many small investors they use for projects and expansion. “The volume will increase by 40 to 50 percent this year to 120 million euros,” says the Viennese co-founder and 40 percent owner Daniel Horak.
Well -known companies get money through crowdfunding
As early as 2024, the amount increased from 65 to 80 million euros. In the medium term, 500 million euros are the goal. Well -known companies such as Trumer Beer, the Falkensteiner Hotels, Food Manufacturers Qimiq, the Fitness Group Mygym or football album Rapid football champion have already used Alconda for financing. The interest is then paid in money or in vouchers for memberships of hotel accommodations or fitness center.
Especially when the interest rates sink, alternative investments are required more. “Many investors want regionally and themselves determined,” Horak notes. An average investment is 4000 euros. “The risk is higher than in the savings book, but the return is higher.”
The newest partner is SMG Holding. The Luxembourg company opens to medium -sized companies based on the stock market via “Reverse IPOs” without risks of a classic IPO. Then SMG participates. You can invest in Conda through a pleasure certificate (such as a share, but as a silent participation).
Platform will soon start in other countries
Then the Vienna platform also wants to expand to other countries. Soon there will be a project in Italy and there may also be opportunities in Poland and Spain.
