As an increase in passenger volume at Vienna airport: from January to June, the number of passengers rose by 2.4 percent to 14.736 million compared to the previous year. In the entire Vienna Group (Vienna Airport, Malta Airport and Airport Kosice), the number of passengers rose by 4.7 percent to 19,598 million travelers in the first half of the year, the airport said on Tuesday in a broadcast.
In June, however, the passenger volume at Vienna airport fell somewhat by 0.4 percent to 3.008 million. The airport operator referred to “the conflict situation between Iran and Israel” as the reason for the slight decrease. However, the figures are still “at a high level”.

The number of passengers fell to Western Europe in June on Wien at the airport of Vienna to 1,052 million (minus 0.8 percent compared to the previous year). After Eastern Europe it went for 271,063 passengers (plus 2.1 percent). According to Noord -America, Airport registered 45,225 travelers (plus 3.3 percent) and, according to Africa, 26,980 (minus 2.9 percent). Due to the military discussion between Iran and Israel, the passenger solume in the middle East broke to 55,103 passengers (minus 24.5 percent). 54,100 passengers (plus 28.5 percent) traveled to the Far East.
Increasing numbers of passenger numbers also report participation in Vienna Airport: Malta Airport registered 923,374 passengers in June (plus 7.5 percent). At Kosice Airport, the passenger volume rose to 99,383 travelers (plus 9.5 percent).
Incidentally, the cargo volume also increased, with 9.1 percent to 154.001 tons.
