As part of the ‘Emove Austria’ mobility program, the government will promote the purchase of electric trucks from classes N1, N2 and N3 and their charging infrastructure with a total of more than 80 million euros.
“We invest en masse in switching to emissions – free traffic – every euro of our Emove Austria program flows 1 to 1 to the mobility circulation,” explains Infrastructure Minister Peter Hanke.
During the purchase, 60 percent of the surcharge is financed by a conventional truck to an electric truck and 40 percent of the corresponding charging infrastructure, the Ministry of Infrastructure announced on Tuesday in a broadcast.

The financing has been requested since July 9, the commitments will be made to the information in November.
