“The combustion technology is not an old technology. And it is the basis of the transformation,” says Klaus von Moltke, director of the BMW Group Steyr Plant. Because this high one -off -expenditure requires in the industry that can be financed from the profit with burners.

31,000 employees in the car industry
The car industry is still an important industry for the OB van Enns country: it consists of 280 companies and research institutions, employs more than 31,000 people and generates around 11.6 billion euros.

E-truck for Chinese company
However, Steyromotive took a step in the direction of e-mobility.
