The first edition of the Hermosa Fest Pride Beach Weekend is already planned as one of the musical events of this last quarter in the Murcia region. It will be held in La Manga, in the Trips Summer Club, from October 13 to 15, and the aim of the promoters is to create a space of diversity, respect and entertainment.
Hermosa Fest features leading national artists and bands in the field of freedom and diversity, DJ sessions and numerous additional activities such as crossfit on the beach, dive baptism and run pride.
Among the invited artists, once the full poster is confirmed, are Fangoria, Natalia Lacunza, La Casa Azul, Varry Brava, Nancys Rubias, Samantha Hudson, OBK, Marlena, Javiera Mena, Travis Birds, La Prohibida y Algora, Supreme Deluxe, Papa Topo, Hidrogenesse, Julia Cry, Malafe and Albert Infante. In addition, there are the DJ’s Sessions by Ley DJ, Guilli Milkiway, Lola Von Dage, Cascales, Lancelot and Colins Peters.
The best musicians and artists go through Hermosa Fest Pride Beach Weekend and the Oferplan website offers tickets for 65 euros, with a 21% discount. The receipt is delivered to the cash register of the housing when the doors are opened.
“The idea of holding it in October is in line with the intention to contribute to the seasonal phasing out of the area, which implies preserving and creating jobs, as well as the activity of the hospitality industry, shops and hotels,” the loco- noted this Friday mayor from Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, responsible for the presentation of this event together with the Councilor for Culture, David Martínez Noguera, and the organizers: Alfonso Torres, owner of Trips Summer Club, and Antonio Palazón, from Meteora Production .
“The Hermosa Fest will be one of the last festivals to be held openly in 2022. We are convinced that the climate, infrastructure and our unique environment can make it a benchmark. Cartagena is an open city, which welcomes and respects and we want to contribute to the normalization of diversity”, emphasizes Castejón.
Businessman Alfonso Torres confirms that “one of the intentions of this festival is to break seasonality. Few entrepreneurs undertake activities outside the summer to extend the season. In this case, Antonio Palazón chose La Manga despite offers from other municipalities and brought us a poster comparable to the best festivals in the country». Palazón recalled that the values are “very clear”: respect and normalize diversity. «We looked for the perfect place and we found it in Trips, ideal for a festival of this magnitude, a unique enclave that will combine culture and natural spaces. We were right and I can already announce that this will not be the last edition».
Palazón noted that this project “is for everyone to make seasonal and when it’s done we will be able to see the effect of an increase in the number of jobs. I encourage everyone to come and do it with the values that this festival promotes.”
