TVE 1 is moving to this Saturday the program ‘Speaking clear’, which premiered this Monday
Since Isabel II’s death was officially announced, Spanish television channels have turned to the news and adapted their programming to report the last hour. La 1 interrupted the afternoon grill with previews and started a special shortly after 7:30 pm, presented by journalist Alejandra Herranz, accompanied by experts. In Atresmedia, La Sexta reported live on the program ‘Beter Laat’ and Mediaset also reported the death on ‘Cuatro al día’ and on ‘Sálvame Naranja’ (Telecinco).
The channels will also adjust their programming in the coming days to offer special content about the figure of the monarch. In this sense, Canal Historia has been preparing for the weekend ‘Special Isabel II, a life of reign’, with thematic formats about the sovereign, and La 2 will offer the full documentary series ‘Los Windsor’ today (10pm) in addition to a special on ‘Documentos TV’ next Tuesday entitled ‘The Queen and Her Prime Ministers’.
Also this Saturday, La 1 will premiere ‘Speaking clear’ (10.30am), originally scheduled for Monday September 12, to report on Elizabeth II’s farewell from London with Lourdes Maldonado and Marc Calderó. In addition, it will publish a special report in ‘Weekly Report’. Public television has sent a large team of professionals to the British capital, including Ana Blanco and Carlos Franganillo.
As for Informativos Telecinco, it will carry out an extensive coverage led by Pedro Piqueras and Alba Lago, who are already in London to present the different editions, accompanied by a team of professionals who have traveled to the United Kingdom.
