Ruth Lorenzo pays tribute to the farmers of the Cartagena deputation of La Puebla in Masterchef

Date:

The singer dedicated her first dish of the program to them, one of the four best of the test

After Ruth Lorenzo confessed her weakness to Judge Jordi Cruz and came out of the elimination with a good dish, Ruth Lorenzo returned to the Masterchef kitchens last night to once again get away with the judges’ incidents in the various tests. The first was both a culinary and physical challenge: the candidates organized in pairs had to pedal an exercise bike to power their partner.

While cooking in the company of the applicant Isabelle, her partner, Ruth Lorenzo showed one of her most personal sides: the religious one. He told Pepe Rodríguez—and the audience—that he was born in Murcia, but moved to Utah with his mother when his parents separated. There, her mother began a close relationship with the Mormon religion: “My family is Mormon and I grew up within the religion, but I’m a rebel,” says the Murcian.

In addition to telling about her origins, the singer also impressed the jury with her preparation, an ‘Arroz de La Puebla’. As he explained, the dish pays tribute to all the farmers of the Cartagena deputation where he lived for five years before moving to England: «The products on the table were many of the products my neighbors grew all year round. ». The jury’s verdict was very positive and they finally congratulated the court: «It’s delicious. You eat it and enjoy it”, confirmed Jordi Cruz, albeit always with some nuances.

His cooking excelled so much that he became one of the four best in the test. His time on Monday’s schedule followed an upward trajectory in the Masterchef outdoor test, which was played by chef Rakel Cernicharo who held the double captaincy. De Murcian was one of the first on the blue team and during the cooking session you could hear her talking to María Escoté about the eating disorder she suffered from for years: “It can be overcome with therapy, but in London I had a really bad time.”

His team stood out in their preparations and work, following the chef’s orders with greater organization and care, although as a general rule chaos was the tone of the test: “I’m anarchist, but they take the cake” , he condemned Rachel . In the end, it was the members of the red team who risked durability in the elimination test, which was devoted to oriental cuisine, while Ruth Lorenzo and her teammates watched quietly from the balcony. Among the applicants, Eduardo Rosa was the second to be expelled from school with a court that failed to convince any of the judges because “this test has surpassed you”.
