The cameras have a charm that is hard to reject. We have seen multitudes of people lose their dignity to appear before them. Very few actually avoid them. There are those who do, but it shows that they are being seduced and playing their own part. Sánchez is attracted to the cameras and he knows it’s mutual. That’s why he knows their best faces, poses and gestures. He has practiced it a lot. Not satisfied with all the times he appears in interviews, news programs and debates, he has opened the doors of Moncloa to record a “West Wing of the White House” in which he plays President Bartlet, of course.

At this point, the series is just a project, though the footage has already been shown to spark interest—or anger, depending on who’s watching it. It has no network broadcasting it or a release date. The ban is open to the highest bidder. The working title is ‘The Four Seasons’ and is expected to be divided into two chapters. Whether there are more seasons will depend on the next election. The intention of the producers (The Pool and Secuoya) is to present a choral portrait of what it means to be part of a center of power, but at least in the trailer presented, the presence (and filmed minutes) of Pedro falls Sánchez on above the others. We watched him go through documents in the car while he was being transferred, had breakfast with his wife, Begoña Gómez, and read ‘Le Monde’.
