A dispute between a man and a group of young people was completely escalated on Thursday evening in Vienna-Floridsdorf. The police were alerted after the 38-year-old insulted not only the young people, but also threatened to kill them with a knife.
The three boys aged 14, 16 and 17 years old described the emergency services that the man even fell behind them with a folding knife. One of the young people fell as he tried to escape from the young people, the alleged attacker tried several times to put the 16-year-old on the ground. Fortunately, nobody was injured.
Connection ring secured with integrated folding knife
According to the police, the suspect (38) was apparently under the influence of addictive substances. He denies all allegations. During a check, however, the officials not only found the alleged murder weapon – a copper ring with an integrated folding knife – but also 16 presumably fake documents, including ID cards, driving licenses and admission certificates that were on different names.
Provisional arrest
The man was temporarily arrested and, among other things, due to dangerous threats, intentional serious physical damage, falsification of documents and violations of the Weapon Act.
