He will perform the Dvoràk Cello Concerto, a piece acclaimed by critics and performers
The Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia, (OSRM), will inaugurate the new season of the ‘Symphonic Cycle’ of the Regional Auditorium next Thursday, October 6. The musicians, led by their principal, Virginia Martínez, will share the stage with the soloist and cello professor at the Hochschule für Musik in Trossingen (Germany), Beatriz Blanco, who will perform the Dvoràk Cello Concerto, a piece of acclaim by critics and performers.
After the performance of Dvoràk’s work, the orchestra puts on the music stands the moving and overwhelming Symphony No. 6 ‘Pathetique’ by Tchaikovsky, the last work composed by the famous Russian musician.
Tickets for the concert, which starts at 8 p.m., are on sale on the auditoriomurcia.org website and at the box office for 20 euros – with a discount for students. In addition, on the website oferplan.laverdad.es tickets can be bought for 16 euros for this and other concerts in the ‘Symphonic Cycle’ cycle.
