Ana Rosa sweeps her return to Telecinco

The journalist Ana Rosa Quintana raised great expectations on her return to the mornings of Telecinco. The presenter returned on Monday to take over the reins of ‘The Ana Rosa Program’ after an 11-month absence due to breast cancer. Her reintegration was followed by 25.5% of the audience and 721,000 spectators, who did not miss the return of ‘the queen of the mornings’ on the small screen. The morning show was the leader well behind its main competitor, ‘Espejo Público’ (Antena 3), who settled for a 10.9% share. It is the best record of the program since June 11, 2021.

The launch of the space, which included the presenter’s first appearance and speech, also gained the 22.8% share and just over 387,000 followers. Autonomous communities, where the return of Ana Rosa Quintana aroused the most interest, were the Balearic Islands (36.7%), the Community of Madrid (34.8%), the Region of Murcia (34.8%), Galicia (29 .4%), Andalusia (29%) and the Basque Country (23.8%). In addition, it scored best among viewers in the 45-54 age bracket, with a viewer share of 27.9%. Despite the good performance in the morning, Telecinco finished in second place in the daily average with 13.2% compared to 14.7% for Antena 3.
