Antonio Resines tests positive for covid again

Date:

The actor, who spent more than a month in the ICU at the end of 2021, is out of danger

Antonio Resines does not lift his head. The Spanish actor has again tested positive for covid, although he is said to be out of danger. It is the artist himself who has confirmed the news after announcing that he will not be able to pick up the Spike of Honor this Saturday that the Valladolid Film Festival has dedicated to him. Resines would receive the award at the closing ceremony in recognition of his career.

It should be remembered that on December 22, Resines had to be admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Gregorio Marañón Hospital, where he spent more than a month fighting covid. Three years ago, the actor admitted to suffering from psoriatic arthritis, a chronic inflammatory disease that affects the joints of psoriasis patients. In 2018, he even had to have surgery after this autoimmune disease caused a stroke in his knee.

The Valladolid Film Festival, the Seminci, reported on Friday that the actor has again tested positive for the corona virus, so that he will not definitively collect the prize at the closing gala on Saturday, as initially announced. Wanting to reassure his followers, Resines has transferred the festival’s director, Javier Angulo, who is out of danger.
