Northern Irish actor Judd Hill has been nominated for Best Actor in a Movie at this year’s Irish Film and Television Awards.
The 11-year-old actress gained international recognition for her role in the Kenneth Branagh movie.Belfast Where the main character plays Friends.
The Northern Irish film won seven Academy Awards at this year’s Academy Awards, losing out to Good Hill for a Best Actor nomination.
However, this was confirmed by the news that the young Tespinian has been nominated as a lead actor (film) at the 2022 Irish Film and Television Awards.
Judy will face other Irish stars, including Aaron Monaghan (Redemption of a Rogue), Dónall Ó Héalai (Foscadh), Moe Dunford (Nightride), and Peter Cunningham (Doineann).
Belfast received a total of 7 IFTA nominations. These include: Best Picture, Best Director (Kenneth Branagh), Best Screenplay (Kenneth Branagh), Best Supporting Actor (Jamie Dornan and Ciaran Hynd) and Best Supporting Actress (Caitriona Balfe), as well as Judd Hill.

Irish actor and comedian Deirdre O’Cain will actually host IFTA, the award-winning event that airs on Virgin Media One on March 12.
