The newsreels of TVE say goodbye to the year with a special summary directed by Carlos del Amor

Date:

The journalist and writer from Murcia has also been in charge of the script for this production, which will be broadcast on the news at 3pm and 9pm on the 31st.

The TVE news outlets say goodbye to the year with a special edition starring Luis Tosar, three-time Goya winner, in a recap of a year marked by the war in Ukraine, telling what happened in the past 365 days.

This summary, which has become a tradition in RTVE’s information services, will have the participation of Antonio Resines, Daniel Guzmán, José Sacristán and Blanca Portillo. In addition, the Princess of Asturias Award for the Arts 2022, María Pagés, will offer a very personal song; and the music will come from the hand of a Ukrainian pianist, a virtuoso who has left her country because of the war and is seeking refuge here, Sonya Zholobova.

It is the fourth time that TVE makes another news overview in which cultural figures join news professionals.

In 2019 that was José Sacristán; in 2020, Jose Coronado; and, in 2021, Blanca Portillo. In thirty minutes we tell about a year marked by the war in Ukraine, concern about climate change, the environment, sports and political anger.

It is scripted and directed by Murcian journalist and writer Carlos del Amor and produced by Antonio Casado. This full production recap from TVE News was shot with optics and cameras aiming to achieve a very cinematic aesthetic.

It lasts 35 minutes and will be broadcast on the news on the 31st in the editions of 3 p.m. and 9 p.m.
