Interested parties can purchase invitations to the event, which will take place on May 14, in exchange for returning obsolete electronic devices
The ‘MimaMú’ awareness caravan will be in the Plaza de la Universidad de Murcia this Thursday and Friday, so that all interested parties can receive invitations to the Varry Brava and Malva concert on May 14 in exchange for providing electrical and electronic equipment that no longer is used. The devices will later be recycled in the Murcia Ecopark, located in the San Ginés industrial estate.
The concert is held on the occasion of World Recycling Day and is organized by the Municipal Council of Murcia and PreZero Urban Services. Please note that since April last year it is possible to obtain tickets at the ecopoints of Santiago and Zaraiche (on Monday), Los Garres (on Tuesday), El Esparragal (on Wednesday), Ronda Sur (on Wednesday), La Flota (on Thursday), El Palmar (Friday), Los Ramos (Friday), Corvera (Saturday) and Joven Futura (Saturday).
This concert wants to make people aware of the importance of giving a second life to resources and how important it is for the environment to perform these small everyday gestures. For this reason, the Ministry of Sustainable Mobility and Street Cleaning, headed by Carmen Fructuoso, emphasized the many opportunities available to citizens to help them carry out this task.
For example, you can use containers that are on the public road for daily waste; the free pick-up service for household items (‘900 511 133’) from the phone to get rid of bulky items; of the mobile ecopoints where you can take used oil, light bulbs, batteries or small appliances with you; from the eco-park in San Ginés; and of the fixed boxes placed in neighbourhoods.
