A clip from ‘Sundown’, the original movie starring Tim Roth

This Friday comes ‘Sundown’, the latest film from Mexican director Michel Franco. Nothing is as it seems in this film starring Tim Roth and Charlotte Gainsbourg, which takes a British couple’s vacations with their children at one of the resorts in paradise-like Acapulco at full speed. Days of drinking and recreation are suddenly interrupted when a loved one dies and the family decides to return to London. Not everyone, as Neil, played by Roth, claims to have left his passport at the hotel and says he will catch the next flight. This is exactly the order they have on these lines, previewing an awkward movie that plays continuously to mislead the viewer.
