The Las Claras Cultural Center will host from next Monday this meeting organized by the Association of Graphic Informants
The Las Claras Cultural Center of the Cajamurcia Foundation will host the XVI Conference of the Association of Graphic Press Reporters of the Region of Murcia (AIG) on May 30, 31 and June 1, bringing together several photojournalism professionals.
The meeting will kick off on Monday, May 30 at 7:00 PM with the roundtable “Female Photojournalists in the Region of Murcia”, in which Gloria Nicolás, Pilar Morales, Loyola Pérez de Villegas and Ainhoa Górriz will participate. Moderated by the editor of LAVERDAD.ES Yousra Takaroumt, this colloquium will share situations that photojournalists have faced, revealing their professional careers and the challenges or difficulties encountered in practicing their craft.
On Tuesday, May 31, at 6:00 PM, the “Initiation to Video for Photographers” workshop, given by David Airob, will be held with the aim of dispelling any doubts that may arise in an audiovisual project: workflows, codecs, materials required, video analysis and assembly, etc.
Finally, on Wednesday, June 1, at 7 p.m., the conference ‘The photographic report. Looking for our way of looking’, by David Airob himself, a photographer for almost thirty years for the newspaper ‘La Vanguardia’, where he was editor-in-chief of the Photography section. As a videographer, he directed the short film ‘Calcio Storico’ and premiered the feature film ‘La Caja de Cerillas’, a documentary based on the personal and professional experience of Spanish photojournalist Joan Guerrero. He is currently combining his work as a freelance photographer and videographer in various journalistic projects.
