NI casts call for role of Tiny Tim in upcoming Grand Opera production

Date:

Aspiring Irish actors are invited to audition for Charles Dickens’ classic “Christmas Song” at the recently restored Grand Opera House.

Belfast Operatic is looking for Tiny Tim for its upcoming production and says it is “delighted” to bring the music of Disney composer Alan Menken to life on the family-run holiday show from November 16-20, 2021.

The company is offering kids the chance to audition for the role of Tiny Tim in this production – they’re looking for a kid with a great voice!

Tiny Tim may be young, but he is very charming and conveys one of the show’s key moments and says “God bless us all!” The age of the character ranges from four to seven years, while the young actor will have to use the cursed tone.

The main audience will receive an online video submission form to be submitted by Sunday, May 9, 2021, from which the production team will select multiple candidates.

If it looks like your child might be BOC’s Tiny Tim, you can find out more details and sign up for the test by following the link here.
