Display of talent at the Murcian Dancers Gala

The ninth edition of this show, held in the Regional Auditorium, was attended by about twenty artists yesterday

The Víctor Villegas Auditorium yesterday hosted the IX Murcian Dancers Gala with the participation of dancers Irene López Ros, Mario Gómez Pérez, Julia Cano Ordás and Marta Vilalta Rivas, Elena Gil Fernández and Vittorio Pebillo, Ángela Alcántara Miranda, Guillenyos del Rezy . The winners of the XII edition of the Tiempo de Danza competition (held in 2021) also took part: Andrea del Pilar Martínez Sánchez, Elena Martínez Santamaría, Ana María Espadas Sánchez, Lucía López Esteban and Víctor López Mayol. As guest dancers, Javier Martínez Segura and Francseco Forcina take the stage.

In addition, the winners in the senior category of the XIII edition of the Tiempo de Danza competition, which was held last Monday, took part in the show. The first prize in the national classical dance category went to Julia Pardo; the highest award in senior contemporary dance went to Marta Illán; Ana Pizarro won first prize in flamenco; and Jesús González won first prize in senior Spanish dance. The show was artistically directed by Carlos Grávalos and Virginia España as assistant director.

The jury of the XIIIth edition of the ‘Time of Dance’ prize, composed of Isaac Monllor, Aída Badía, Estela Arauzo and Natalia Blanco, also recognized Pedro Cruz, Araceli Nicolás and Esperanza Raja (youth) in the classical dance category; Miguel Carrasco, Candela Rodriguez and Raquel Osuna (junior); Claudia Hernández and ngela Alfonso (senior). In Spanish dance, the winners were: Carmen Valverde (junior), Marta Moya and Miriam Gallego (senior). In contemporary dance: María Ruiz, Noelia Candel and José D. Sánchez (junior); and Marta Belmonte (senior).
