Colombian singer Maluma will perform tonight at 10 p.m. in the Plaza de Toros de Murcia. This is another stop on his world tour, during which he will present the songs from his latest studio album, ‘Papi Juancho’, live. A ‘tour’ that started on February 24 in Zagreb, Croatia.
The artist is regarded worldwide as one of the benchmarks of Latin music and presents a futuristic avant-garde show full of lasers, audiovisual effects and fireworks. In addition, the singer is accompanied on stage by 12 dancers. More than 200 square meters of LED screens accompany an artistic proposal that combines pop, reggaeton and staircase.
‘Papi Juancho’ is the Colombian singer’s fifth studio album. It is an album that was recorded during the quarantine in Medellín, where Maluma rediscovered his roots and recorded again alone, as at the beginning of his successful career.
The title is derived from Maluma’s nickname –Juancho, short for Juan Luis– and includes collaborations with Myke Towers, Justin Quiles and Yandel, among others. A total of 22 tracks that collect the purest essence of Maluma. Among them is ‘Hawái’, written by some of the artist’s former collaborators in a camp on the American island; you can also listen to ‘Madrid’, dedicated to the Spanish public; and ‘Medallo City’, a trap with salsa sounds.
