The West Belfast woman is currently competing for the title of Miss Grand International at the Thailand beauty pageant.

The opportunity is “a dream come true,” says Shannon McCulla, Miss Northern Ireland’s Greatest.

The preliminary competitions will begin on November 16 in Phuket and the Grand Crowning Night will take place on December 4 in Bangkok.

The geography graduate took part in quizzes at the late age of 23 and says his only idea of ​​quizzes before were “typical industry misconceptions” and a “negative view” of them.

Shannon added, “When it comes to competitions, I’m glad more and more people are realizing that you never get old. There will always be some platforms, especially for you, that will make you feel good and appreciated.”

Shannon claims to be proud to represent Northern Ireland, especially West Belfast.
