This headline is a quote. This was reported by the Tagesschau in the German ARD in November 2020. By that time, the Washington Post newspaper had proven Donald Trump 22,000 (!) untruths. Now the ex-president of the US is being charged. Still, he wants to be head of state and government again.
1. To be clear, Trump’s tens of thousands of false statements—many more have been added in recent years—are not about things that can be seen one way or another. For example, Trump says the Pennsylvania Supreme Court found the 2020 presidential election rigged. That’s a flat lie. There is no such judgment. In fact, all of Trump’s voter fraud allegations have been rejected by all courts across the country.
