Police tell how my 10-year-old nephew watched a gunman “execute” his uncle –

Date:

Police revealed that a gunman threw a 10-year-old boy off the road, killing his uncle.

More details about Mark Hall’s murder in West Belfast emerged when a detective made a new request to catch the killers responsible for aiding.

Chief Investigative Inspector Neil McGuinness told Crimewatch that the boy was with his mother, the victim’s sister, and that he was trying to stop a gunman in the house where Mr. Hall was killed.

But while he was doing so, another firearm took his son out of the way and opened fire from the front room window.

A 31-year-old man was shot and killed on December 18 last year at his home in the St James area.

DCI McGuinness said Mr. Hall was outside receiving messages and when he returned he saw two gunmen at the door.

“He fought very bravely and prevented them from entering the gates,” but “unfortunately, when a gunman was fighting at the gates, another gunman threw his 10-year-old son out of the way by another gunman, and he executed him mostly. His brother… the window.”

The General Directorate of Defense for Children said the gunman fired seven shots, five of which hit Mr. Hall. When the couple escaped, a shot was fired at Mr. Hall’s sister, who was slipping into her purse.

DCI McGuinness added that his nephew “saw his mother fighting an armed assailant,” then “heard gunshots, and believed his mother had been killed and his uncle missing in the accident.”

The investigator added that the boy was “traumatized for life”.

According to the police, the murder of the victim “hurt the heart” of the victim’s partner and family and that the young daughter was fatherless.

Speaking with Crimewatch Wednesday morning, Investigative Chief Inspector McGuinness, with the help of CCTV footage, showed the traumatic incident in hopes of erasing memories.

He said, “We know there were armed men, and they arrived in the St. James area minutes before the murder, on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. You can see that they arrived in a light-coloured sedan—there was a taxi sign from above.” the back door of the car and they entered the alley through a network of alleys.”

DCI McGuinness describes gunmen who approached the family home, a brawl arose and gunfire was heard from the window of the house – fatally wounding and injuring Mr. Hall.

He added, “We know there were people in the car, there were people on bikes and on foot. This is a very busy living space.

“They may very well know something they don’t think is appropriate, but we need to know. So we’re asking people to call us. If for any reason they don’t like calling the police, contact the independent charity Crimestoppers.

PSNI added: “Anyone with information should ask the police to contact investigators at 101. Information can be submitted to Crimestoppers at 0800555111, with 100% anonymity.”
