Belfast burglary sees car stolen in incident involving knife-wielding man

The man entered the house with a gun and demanded cash for aggravated robbery in South Belfast.

It happened on Wednesday 23 March at 2:45 am on Ereton Street, when the car, which later found itself in North Belfast, was moved.

PSNI Sergeant Adams said: “After being told by the occupier that there was no one there [money]The intruder took several items from the bedroom, including a cell phone, laptop, and car key.

He left the room and overheard him talking to another man before they both caught the homeowner’s car that was parked outside.

Then the car was parked in Antrim Close.

The man is described as being around 5 feet 11 inches tall, aged between 20 and 30 years, with blond hair, short nails, and a slender brown beard. Belfast spoke with an accent.

The other man was said to speak with a Belfast accent as well.

“Our investigation into this incident is ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who has seen anything or has information that might help us to call 101 and call 138 23/03/22.
