Vox complicates Feijo’s life at the head of PP in his first week

Date:

Alberto Nunez Feio made his debut on the main floor of the PP headquarters, with problems such as the eviction of Pablo Casado. Some even got worse. This is the case with Vox. Casado was left without the extreme right, not to enter any government with the PP. But just hours after Feio was declared party president, Alfonso Fernando Manieko gave free force to the Pact coalition government with Vauxhall in Castile and Leon. The Galician leader did not even want to confirm whether he would attend a Manieko investment in which he could coincide with Santiago Abascal. A photo that does not interest Feio.

Abaskal himself has become a problem for the PP president this week, despite his meager parliamentary presence. The president of Vox attacked the Twitter account of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, after he mentioned in a speech to Congress on Tuesday the bombing of Adolf Hitler’s aircraft on the Basque population of Guernica during the Civil War.

“We are in April 2022, but it seems we are in April 1937,” the Ukrainian president said in a reference to the entire lower house applauding, but which was immediately followed by a backlash from ultra-bots in the networks, which the Paraguels did. Trendy theme. The problem arose later. At first it was the far-right MEP Hermann Tertch who spread his revisionist messages on Twitter. And this Thursday, Abbaskal himself joined the trivialization of the Guernica incident, an attack cited by international historiographical consensus as a precedent for the massive Nazi bombing of World War II.

“To make comparisons, it would probably be more accurate to talk about Paraguelos,” wrote the president of Vox, who also did not consider it appropriate to mention episodes of the civil war, such as the Badakhoz massacre or the recently awarded Disassemble From Malaga. Vox voted against, while PP abstained.

But not alone. Abascal preferred the reminder of the fascist side of the Civil War to “Napoleon invasion” or “the persecution of Spanish assassins in the Basque Country for decades.” He even had time in his subject to defend the Spanish companies that Zelensky was pointing to for their business in Russia.

To add more oil to the fire, a Vox MP this Wednesday compared Prime Minister Adolf Hitler to President Felix Bolanos to Joseph Goebbels. “You are a propagandist leaving Dr. Goebbels in a preschool. You are serving a subject who, while maintaining similarities, can be said to be like the Führer, because the budget’s propaganda exceeds 70 million. “What is called information support,” he was sentenced from the rostrum of Congress. No one in Vox refused.

Vox’s promotion to the ruling party, along with PP, undermines Cassado’s strategy of not sharing seats with the far right. Feio tried to distance himself from the agreement and placed it as part of Cassado’s inheritance. This almost bothers him because the deal was closed a few days before the coronation of the Galician president.

But Vox stopped the negotiations, increased the demands, and extended the negotiations by maneuvering so that Castilla’s and Leon’s PP did not delay Feijo’s ascent. In fact, the prominent leader of Manueco’s party pointed this out directly in a conversation with reporters in Seville during the break of the 20th National Congress.

Manieko obeys the cultural aspects crucial to Vox and what sets Feijo’s new PP apart from the moderation and transcendental thinking he wants to offer. One of the most difficult moments occurred during Feijo’s incomparable domestic primary campaign, when he said that if a father kills his children “because of a problem” with his partner, “this is not sexist violence.” A thesis that was widely defended in the far right and which the President of Galicia himself had to correct.

The investment meeting of the President of Castile and Leონისn will take place next Monday. And his inauguration, after Easter. But Feijo could not confirm whether he would attend the two meetings. Neither wanted to go or not. The Galician does not like to expect his movements. In fact, he turned “hermeticism” into his trait, according to the deputies. But finding out whether he will succeed the first autonomous president during his term raises the question of whether he is, at least, measuring the risks.

As well as those who have established themselves as Feijo’s major regional ally in this new PP BaronizedJuan Manuel Moreno. The President of Andalusia is faced with the question of when the elections should be called, which should be held yes or yes by the end of the year. His idea was to do it in the summer, in the fall. But the economic crisis and Vox data in polls have forced him to consider the option of having it right now, in June.

It is in this election that the case of Feiyo PP coming to the presidency can be examined for the first time. Whatever the outcome of Moreno, the blog will be coded in the state code. If he goes well, the Galician will be able to breathe. If not, it will be proven that the problems that Cassado had were not just because of him and his personality Number two, Theodore Garcia Egea. But in both cases Vox will have a significant presence. It is quite a challenge for those who avoid the call of Abaskal’s “extreme right” and want their constituents to return to the PP.
