The judge begins an investigation into the million-dollar contracts commission of the Madrid City Council

Madrid’s 47th court has decided to launch an investigation into the sale of medical equipment to two businessmen, who have imposed more than 6 million commissions. According to the Supreme Court of Madrid, the court upheld the appeal of the anti-corruption prosecutor’s office against businessmen Luis Medina and Alberto Luceno.

Among other things, the magistrate will take the testimony of the accused from them and call on “the witnesses necessary to corroborate the facts” to testify. In total, there were more than 11 million contracts for masks, tests and gloves that hid $ 6 million in fees for businessmen.

Prosecutors understand they could have committed three crimes: one was fraudulently defrauding the city council, the other was money laundering for trying to hide money by buying a yacht, up to 12 luxury cars – from brands such as Porsche or Lamborghini – and watching Rolex, and finally another documentary.
