Clear words from federal presidential candidate Michael Brunner in “Asked” with Gerhard Koller: “The government has committed more than 100 violations of the constitution in the course of the Corona measures, if I became federal president I would immediately impeach them”. The MFG candidate is also not without criticism in other respects: “Western arms supplies to Ukraine are bellicose. Austria must give up immediately and prefer to pursue an active neutrality policy, as Bruno Kreisky once did.”
Sanctions against Russia must be lifted, Brunner sees “the Austrian people much closer than the Ukrainian people” on this point. Especially since Ukraine is not a member of the EU. According to Brunner, the minimum pensions should even be increased by 20 percent, because that is “the real and relevant inflation for retirees”.
The candidate Walter Rosenkranz, who is backed by the FPÖ, is actually a “systems candidate” who doesn’t want to mess with anyone and argues in a vague way – he, on the other hand, is clearly committed to his statements and to the law.
You can see a lot more explosive detail in a remarkable interview in the video above.
