The coalition wants to create a strategic forum to deal with the economic consequences of the war in Ukraine with political and social participation. It proposes to intervene in the energy market, protect income and redistribute wealth.
EH Bildu presented at the plenary session of the Basque Parliament a plan with the axis of the “protection” of “people, economy, employment and wages and energy well-being”, to debate measures to face the consequences of the war in Ukraine.
At the request of the coalition, Parliament held a plenary session on the measures that the Basque government should take to deal with the consequences of the war.
As explained by his spokesman, Maddalen Iriarte, “structural” measures are needed for EH Bildu, and to analyze them he proposes to set up a strategic forum. In this consultation forum, several agents would discuss the overall strategy.
