In this way, the head of court number 8 of Valencia has decreed the opening of oral test against the former president of the Generalitat, Eduardo Zaplana, and sends him to the bank for the alleged collection of commissions after the award of the Wind Plan and the plans of the Vehicle Technical Inspections (ITV) in the Erial case.

Eduardo Zaplana was arrested in May 2019 and later sent to the prison of Picassent (Valencia). Months later, the judge released the former President of the Generalitat Valenciana and former Minister of Labor Eduardo Zaplana and the other two detainees in the case, lawyer Francisco Grau and the former director of Terra Mítica Joaquín Barceló, after a significant reduction in the risk of leakage.
