Shortly before the national holiday, the SPÖ launched a new campaign to emphasize the importance of the party for the country. The motto is “Austria would not be without red”. About 10,000 small posters can be admired nationwide.
In addition to the small posters, there is social media activity, a campaign video and a campaign website.
Federal director Christian Deutsch says about the campaign that the SPÖ wants to add many more chapters to the red-white-red success story: “For this, our country needs social democratic leadership again.”
SPÖ urges new elections
In terms of content, the SPÖ focuses on the urgency of change in its new campaign. While whole generations to this day have benefited from social-democratic gains and the SPÖ has the right solutions for current and future challenges, “the haphazard, incapable and unstable government is constantly failing”. That is why new elections are needed immediately.
