Humorous approach – New government campaign: “Vaccinate Tu felix Austria!”

Date:

The government wants to continue to advertise the Covid vaccination with adjusted quotes. “Vaccinate Tu felix Austria!” It says in the new campaign – or, “I’ll take a look at your vaccination card, little one!” refreshed!”, the Ministry of Health announced on Friday. From 2 to 10 December there will also be a Covid vaccination and medication consultation with doctors and pharmacists.

“We want to combine the subject with a smile, which has acquired a negative connotation due to the difficult discussions of recent years,” said Health Minister Johannes Rauch (Greens) in a broadcast. The campaign, which will run through Christmas, will run on television, radio, print, online and social media channels.

It was conceived by the creative agency BBDO Vienna in collaboration with rosenberg gp, carried out by the GECKO office in the Federal Chancellery together with the communication team of the Ministry of Health.

Educational materials in doctors’ practices and schools
Information leaflets will be available in Austrian doctors’ practices and pharmacies in the coming weeks, including about other important booster vaccinations. All 6,000 schools in the state have also received information leaflets and posters and the offer of an information evening with a doctor. “It’s important to talk directly to people and answer their questions individually,” Rauch emphasized.
