The General Assemblies of Bizkaia intend today to give the green light to the segregation of Usansolo, which, subject to appeal, will become the territory’s 113th municipality. Here are the steps you need to follow to complete the process:
– After approval, the text will be modified will publish in the Official Gazette of the Basque Country (BOPV) and the Official Gazette of Bizkaia.
– Then the resolution of will report the Galdakao City Council, the Basque Government and the Spanish Government.
– After notification, the procedure will be sent back to the Provincial Council of Bizkaia to execute the agreement
– Provincial Council must have a management committee composed of the number of representatives corresponding to the population. The manager would run Usansolo until the next municipal elections – whether it will be possible before the May 28 elections has yet to be determined. Galdakao would keep the same number of councilors despite the withdrawal.
