On December 23, Chancellor Karl Nehammer visited charities.
The chancellor went on a Christmas tour. One day before Christmas, Karl Nehammer visited various charities to pay his respects to those in need, as well as to the numerous volunteers in the institutions.
The first on the program was the women’s shelter of the Sint-Elisabeth Foundation, which helps mothers and children in need. Nehammer was accompanied by Minister of Women’s Affairs Susanne Raab and his wife Katharina Nehammer. Next, Nehammer and his team cooked for the crypt, a facility for the homeless. Wiener schnitzel with potato salad and vegetarian pasta were prepared.
“Cooking together for the homeless was fulfilling – I’m glad I got to experience it today,” says Nehammer.
