EH Bildu political council spokesman Bakartxo Ruiz has stressed the importance of taking part in the demonstration that Sare has convened in the capital of Biscay to call for the rapprochement of all ETA prisoners and the end of any exceptional policy to demand.

The spokesman for the Political Council of EH Bildu, Bakartxo Ruizhas affirmed that it is time to “overcome obsolete frameworks”, to “open up new scenarios so that Euskal Herria and the rest of the nations of the Spanish State are recognized” and is convinced that a “strong” sovereignist coalition after the forthcoming electoral appointments is the way to do that.
This was Ruiz’s statement during his speech at the Ordinary general meeting that this formation celebrated this Saturday in Bilbao and where it also insisted on the importance of participating this afternoon in the demonstration convened by Sare in the capital of Biscay to call for the rapprochement of all ETA prisoners with Euskadi and the end of any policy of exception to demand .
Ruiz has assured that now is not the right time “commemorate statutes or improvements”but of “opening a new democratic cycle that knows no more limits than the will of the people” and is convinced that a “strong” EH Bildu after the next electoral appointments will make it possible “to open new opportunities to overcome these expired frameworks and in the opening of new scenarios”.
He has argued that the constitutional and autonomous framework designed in 1978 “is not valid”, “it does not give more than itself”, to respond to the demands of today’s society as it helps a deep structural crisis in territorial, political, social and economic terms”.
For example, he has spoken of an “anachronistic monarchy” and “obsolete”. a “constitutional court that silences the senate”of “a non-existent separation of powers” and of the “emergence” of a “fascism” capable of causing “true social involution”.
